Privacy Policy
CryptoWave provides browser-based tools for files, media, text, and cryptography. The tools are designed so your file contents and tool inputs are processed locally in your browser whenever you use them.
Local tool processing
CryptoWave does not upload your selected files, passwords, encryption keys, plaintext, ciphertext, QR content, PDF content, image content, audio, or video to our server for processing. Tool operations run in your browser using browser APIs, Web Crypto, and WebAssembly libraries.
Your browser may still request page assets, scripts, fonts, and third-party libraries that are needed to load the site. Those network requests do not include the files or tool content you choose inside the tools.
Analytics and advertising tags
CryptoWave uses Google tag with Google Analytics and Google Ads identifiers to understand site traffic, page usage, and advertising performance. Google may receive information such as visited pages, device and browser information, approximate location derived from IP address, referral source, and interaction events.
We do not intentionally send the contents of your files, typed secrets, generated passwords, encryption keys, or uploaded local media to Google Analytics or Google Ads.
Aggregate usage counters
Some tool buttons may send a button identifier to a CryptoWave API endpoint so we can show aggregate usage counts, such as how many times a tool action has been used. This counter is intended to store button IDs and totals, not the contents of your files or tool inputs.
Local storage
CryptoWave uses your browser's local storage for preferences and convenience features, such as theme selection, recently used tools, and selected text-to-speech voice. This information stays in your browser unless you clear site data.
Cookies
CryptoWave itself does not require user accounts or first-party login cookies. Third-party services such as Google may use cookies or similar technologies for analytics, measurement, and advertising features according to their own policies and your browser settings.
Third-party services
CryptoWave may load or communicate with third-party services, including Google services, font providers, CDN-hosted libraries, and hosting infrastructure. These providers may process technical request data according to their own privacy policies.
Data security
Client-side processing reduces the need to transmit sensitive files and inputs. You should still avoid using online tools on devices or browsers you do not trust, and you should clear browser data when working on shared computers.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the site, analytics setup, advertising setup, or tool behavior changes. The effective date above shows when this version was last updated.
