Are my videos uploaded to a server?
No. All volume adjustment is done using FFmpeg.wasm which runs entirely in your browser. Your video files never leave your device and are never transmitted to any server.
How much can I boost video volume?
You can boost volume up to 200% of the original level. Use the slider to select a precise level from 0% (muted) to 200% (double the original loudness).
Will boosting cause audio distortion?
Distortion (clipping) is possible if you boost already loud audio above 150%. If you hear crackling or distortion in the output, try a lower boost value or reduce the level slightly.
